Coconut Rice from Cilegon City

Welcome to Cilegon as the banner board sign say. Cilegon is not capital city of banten province, it was Serang actually. Cilegon is industrial town, more factories and infrastructure was build here. The Cilegon location is near with the ocean so the trade and other factory or industrial sectors have the sea transport for export their goods to other Indonesian island or other country.

As like other town, Cilegon has many of culinary places. If you ever go to cilegon, you must know Anyer beach resort or you can taste fish soup (Sop Ikan). If you like street corner food we have famous nasi uduk yuyun at Cilegon Raya Street. Every night this place was crowded by people who hunger for the taste. The price for one plate with nasi uduk, tempe mendoan, and hati ayam was only half dollar.  This already include with hot tea water. It’s fit with my pocket or any one of you which no enough money to buy fancy food. The fried food still dominant in indonesaian cook culture whether it’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The tempe mendoan also was fried with flour, mix with some ingredients like pepper, salt, and flavour.

nasiudukclg01The tent stalls only open for night from 6 pm to 12 pm even in the public holiday you will see the tent still open. If you like to taste it in 6 pm or 8 pm you will see the traffic line their. The goods thing is the serve is always hot, you don’t have cool food.

Come’s and joins living at cilegon city where working and serve are goods
